THE BUSINESS of real estate in the Philippines has been upgraded with the introduction of RE/MAX, the world’s highest-rating franchise. Giving a more professional approach to doing business, RE/MAX Philippines provides more options to people looking for property to own or lease.

As the world’s no. 1 real estate brand, RE/MAX has the largest global network of highly successful brokers and agents in 100 countries. RE/MAX Philippines is now making an impact in the global arena through its tested and proven model in franchising where everybody wins. It is a perfect time to be present in the country with our booming real estate market.

The dynamic RE/MAX Philippines country manager Michelle Perlas explains that with so many real estate developments right now, consumers need more information and guidance before a purchase is made. To date, RE/MAX Philippines already has brokers that are listing properties in real estate developments of Ayala and Rockwell, to name a few. Properties include both residential and commercial listings.

Getting to know clients

RE/MAX franchisees help potential buyers/lessees look at their options. “RE/MAX teaches its franchisees/brokers to get to know their clients. We want them to talk to their prospects and find out what these people want versus what they need. This is how they can be effective brokers. In the end, what we will have are happy customers and that’s why we are here,” says Perlas.

RE/MAX’s business model was novel but it has worked in around 100 countries where RE/MAX has helped brokers reach their professional and business goals.

“The franchise approach is incredibly efficient and a great driver for growth,” said Dave Liniger, who cofounded RE/MAX in 1973 with his wife Gail.

In October 2013, RE/MAX Holdings Inc. became a publicly traded company and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange as RMAX. Dave and Gail Liniger still head RE/MAX, which is headquartered in Denver.

Offering solutions

Now in the Philippines, the company is offering solutions to real estate brokers in a very dynamic market. The franchises are individually owned and operated, and are run according to the specific demands of its local or regional market.

“The company espouses entrepreneurship. It teaches you how to be in business for yourself but not by yourself,” says Perlas, who has 18 years of experience in integrated marketing communications and has worked for some of the country’s top corporations before joining RE/MAX Philippines.

RE/MAX Philippines brings to real estate brokers a system that has been proven and tested to work. This system has helped people be their own boss and has given them opportunities beyond making money. They wish to inspire more entrepreneurs, especially those who believe in the company and its powers to transform lives.

Training programs

Interested brokers undergo several training programs on business management, sales and negotiation skills, recruitment strategies, effective communication and motivation and coaching. These programs are conducted both live and online training and webinars.

Offering end-to-end real estate business solutions to the most common industry problems, RE/MAX Philippines and Guam president Leonard Campos shares that the agents are trained the RE/MAX way where they maximize property value with personalized customer service to boot.

At the launch of RE/MAX Philippines at Discovery Primea Hotel, the media and listed brokers welcomed Campos who flew in from Guam just for the affair. He shares that homebuyers are now more secure to have the expert team behind them in finding that perfect dream home.

RE/MAX Philippines head office is located at 25th floor, Citibank Tower II, 8741 Paseo de Roxas Street, Makati City, Philippines.
