La Prairie’s signature skin caviar cream comes encased in Baccarat’s luxurious, reusable and limited-edition jar
FANS of Swiss luxury skincare La Prairie will be thrilled to know that their Skin Caviar Luxe Cream now comes in a more lightweight formula. Dubbed Skin Caviar Luxe Sheer, the lifting moisturizer is lighter while still retaining its creamy consistency, thanks to a new blend of ingredients that provides users with a textural alternative.
Regardless of cream or sheer, both are heavily infused with its most potent star component: caviar derived from the white sturgeon—yes, La Prairie’s Skin Caviar creams do contain real caviar (they didn’t just appropriate the name to denote luxury) after their scientists discovered the sturgeon’s ability to live for over a century.
Both formulas are enriched with a nourishing and firming proprietary complex that help stimulate the collagen production while simultaneously preventing further loss.
Skin Caviar Luxe Sheer is already available in Rustan’s counters where La Prairie is available.
New concealer
Another star product arriving in October is their Skin Caviar Concealer/Foundation. The lightweight formula is enriched with new peptides to help increase firmness and elasticity as it covers blemishes and imperfections. The concealer/foundation comes in a bottle whose cap cleverly serves as the concealer pot as well, ensuring that the two shades are always comple- mentary and that you won’t forget either one when traveling. The foundation/concealer comes in many shades and is infused with SPF15 so your skin is protected from aging caused by the sun.
The foundation also includes arnica extract which provide anti-irritation
benefits to skin and licorice extract, which helps brighten skin as it inhibits tyrosinase, to arrest skin darkening and age spots from forming.
For fans of both Baccarat and La Prairie, the two luxury houses have collaborated once again for Caviar Spectaculaire, a limited edition crystal sculpture that fuses skincare and art.
Caviar Spectaculaire contains a 75ml jar of La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Luxe Cream nestled in a gorgeous Baccarat crystal caviar server. The Baccarat jar can be reused as a caviar server by removing the cream jar and replacing it with the caviar server bowl.
Only 1,500 crystal servers were produced and released worldwide, and only 15 are being brought to the Philippines (as of press time, about half are already spoken for through reservation cards filled out at La Prairie counters). The shape of the server is patterned after the Baccarat-signature Harcourt 1841 stem, an iconic piece that showcases the brand’s exquisite craftsmanship.
