Reaching out to the Millennials-UPMG holds Print Media Congress

-

It seems like the youth is more drawn to the lure of digital media, leaving print less space under the spotlight. However, recent studies have show that millennials still prefer the physical touch of actual print-outs.

On October 21 and 22, United Print Media Group will conduct the largest gathering of publications and its stakeholders to discuss how we can reach out this generation. Leaders from different advertising agencies and publications will speak to the plenary.

Topics would include: "Where is print now through the eyes of the millennials" to be led by Mr. Jay Bautista of Strategic Consumer and Media Incites. Inc., "Connecting through digital," by Mr. Paolo Mercado of Nestle Philippines, "Selling the Big Idea to the Millenials" by Carat Philippines CEO Gladys Basinillo, "Catching attention through creatives" by Mr. Marcus Rebeschini of Y&R Asia Pacific, "Leading Millenials and Undestanding Generational Mindsets" by Champion Thought Leader and Book Author Mr. Francis J. Kong, "Worldwide trends in print advertising" by Gilles Demptos of WAN INFRA, and "Reaching millennials in the nation building" by Atty. Andy Bautista of COMELEC,

There shall also be group discussions on the following topics: "How are we reaching out to the millennials now," "The challenge: what can we do?," "Local trends in print advertising,"

Ms. Pam Pastor, Chief Youth Correspondence of Philippine Daily Inquirer, Ms. Mryza Sison, Editorial Director of Summit Media and Mr. Jed Gregorio, EIC of Scout Magazine will also share insights on what millenials want to see in print.
