LANDBANK bags 3 awards from International Banker
LANDBANK bagged three major awards at the recently held International Banker Banking Awards in London including the Best Commercial Bank.
The Bank was recognized for “providing much-needed capital for economic growth, innovation to improve security and efficiency, intelligent investing to maximize profits and shareholder value.”
LANDBANK was also conferred the Innovation in Retail Banking in the Philippines award for its LANDBANK Mobile LoanSaver (LMLS), a project in partnership with Smart e-Money, Inc. (SMI) - Voyager Innovations.
LANDBANK was cited for remaining aggressive in enhancing and accelerating the development of new products and channels, while building and maintaining strategic alliances and partnerships in the delivery of Bank services and programs. One of the Bank’s well-received innovations is the LMLS, an automated and mobile-enabled system that provides accessible, quick and easy loan application process for employees of private companies and government entities with payroll accounts with LANDBANK.
“We acknowledge the need to constantly respond to the ever-changing needs of our customers and the constantly shifting business landscape,” LANDBANK president and CEO Gilda Pico said.
Pico, meanwhile, was named Banking CEO of the Year (Asia) for her “essential contributions as the premier decision-maker within the financial institution.”
