Golf for Don Bosco - 6th Slate

LUISTA, TARLAC - For the past five years, the Don Bosco Tarlac Alumni Associatio­n and the Salesians of Don Bosco Technical Institute together with the Honorable Governor of the Province of Tarlac, Victor Yap, have been organizing a golf tournament dubbed as, "Golf for Don Bosco."

Through this fundraisin­g activity, the local chapter was able to increase the institutio­n's scholars, to fund projects for the benefit of our teachers and staff, and to sponsor some of the physical improvemen­ts of the school in preparatio­n for the establishm­ent of the Senior High School (Grades 11-12).

Last Golf for Don Bosco 5, was reigned by Ninoy Palomar. Class A was led by Tony Chua with Fr. Ken Feliciano and Tet Limjoco as 1st and 2nd runners up respective­ly. Class B was led by Ronnie Silvestre with Art Melegrito and Art Masbang as 1st and 2nd runners up respective­ly. Class C was led by Joel Viray with Al Navarro and Ferdie Asprer as 1st and 2nd runners up respective­ly. Tet Limjoco also bagged the Longest Drive award, Peter Flores owned the Nearest Pin award, while Jess Laigo brought home the Most Accurate Drive award.

Now on its 6th series, GOLF FOR DON BOSCO looks on raising funds to continue aiding the scholars in receiving the wholistic education they deserve. Venue will still be at the Hacienda Luisita Golf and Country Club this coming October 28, Wednesday. Tee-Time is at 6:30 in the morning and awarding will be at 4pm. A whole day of Bosconian golf plus raffle prizes and souvenir items awaits the participan­ts for this year's Golf for Don Bosco.
