Jason Radam. This is the first time that these new academic programs of Tytana have joined a national finance competition. Tytana is the educational arm of the Metrobank Group of Companies. Over the years, Tytana has established a standard of academic excellence offering Nursing, Psychology, Holistic Nutrition with Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Information Technology, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Tourism Management, Communication and short courses in culinary arts, foreign languages and caregiving. Moreover, in response to K-12, Tytana was approved by the Department of Education (DepEd) effective SY 2015-2016 to offer senior high school (Grades 11 and 12) offering the academic track with the following strands: Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM); Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); general academic strand (GAS); and humanities and social sciences (HUMSS); and technical-vocational-livelihood Track which covers bread and pastry production, food and beverage services, housekeeping, caregiving, local guiding services, and cookery. THE KOREA Exchange Bank (KEB)-Manila Branch held last Nov. 24 its Annual Scholarship Awarding ceremony in Makati City. Twenty-five students from different universities like the University of the Philippines, De La Salle University, University of Santo Tomas, Mapua Institute of Technology, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines were chosen to receive various scholarships. This is in line with KEB’s efforts to grow together with the communities it serves by providing scholarship grants to exemplary students that are financially challenged, especially those that are disabled or handicapped. KEB-Manila Branch through its foundation, Hana Nanum Foundation believes that the most effective and longer lasting assistance to its partner country is by supporting its future leaders finish their studies. KEB Manila Branch is headed by general manager Ki Hyoung Kim.
