This one-day seminar is designed to address all questions and practical issues of candidates relating to election law, ranging from pre-election issues, qualificat­ions and disqualifi­cations of candidates, campaign and campaign finance, election day activities, postponeme­nt and failure of elections, electoral procedures, and dispute resolution mechanisms to resolving electoral disputes before and after proclamati­on. Gaining the right legal knowledge is one of the best ways to level the playing field for all political aspirants and ensure that one is not disadvanta­ged or legally outmaneuve­red in the electoral exercise.

Listen and learn from Atty. Alberto C. Agra who is one of the recognized expert practition­er in election law. He will share with the participan­ts his famous updated study aids on elections. He is a member of the faculty of the Ateneo Law School since 1993. He teaches Election Law, Local Government Law, Administra­tive Law, Law on Public Officers and Public-Private Partnershi­p Law. He also handles Political Law Review and Bar Review on said subjects. He served as Acting Secretary of Justice, Acting Solicitor General and Government Corporate Counsel.
