4 fab collabs coming this 2016
WHILE well-loved fast-fashion brand H&M has a slew of designer collaborations, and MAC Cosmetics has stars lined up to give us one limited collection after another (how our wallets keep up, we will never know), more covet-worthy fashion and beauty partnerships are shaping up.
Here are four to watch out for in the coming months:
Rodarte X & Other Stories
Mark it: Spring of 2016 The sartorial sisters are at it again; Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte have teamed up with contemporary retailer & Other Stories on a small collection. Expect the dreamlike aesthetic that Rodarte is known for, but with a more relaxed look.
Who What Wear X Target
Mark it: February 2016
Our favorite guilty pleasure of a department store has just revealed its coming partnership with the editors of online fashion and beauty bible Who What Wear. Gone are the days when we’d longingly browse through WWW posts and find suggested items way above our monthly clothing budgets.
This little collab with Target ensures that the pieces are all under $49.99—not bad for
pasalubong.
Topshop X Beyonce
Mark it: April 2016 London label Topshop is joining forces with music royalty Beyonce for a line called Parkwood Topshop. Rejoice, yogis and fitness buffs! Beyonce is set to come up with athleisure in futuristic designs.
Tommy Hilfiger X Gigi Hadid
Mark it: Fall of 2016 “I think our collection celebrates the iconic Tommy lifestyle and mixes hippy-chic with sporty and tomboy styles,” said Tommy Hilfiger ambassador and capsule collection codesigner Gigi Hadid in an interview with WWD.
Given this declaration, we’re just happy Hadid isn’t stuck in brand ambassadorship rut, but, instead, is putting her sartorial authority to good use.
