Drag races kick off tomorrow
THE COUNTRY’S fastest drivers return for another season of quarter-mile head-to-head racing as the 2016 Philippine Drag Racing Championship kicks off tomorrow at Clark International Speedway.
Over 200 drivers will dispute titles in the Quick 8, M&H Super Pro Class (10.99 seconds and quicker), M&H Pro (11.00 to 12.49 seconds), Expert (12.50 to 13.99), Sportsman (14.00 to 15.99), and Hotstreet (16.00 and slower) classes in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by M&H, Sparco, Aguila Auto Glass.
Spectators will be treated to thrilling showdowns between modern six-cylinder machines and American V8 muscle cars.
