Peugeot offers free roadside assistance throughout Holy Week

-

PRESSED for time this Holy Week? Don't leave your family's safety to luck. In partnership with Total, Peugeot will be offering free roadside assistance to both Peugeot and non-Peugeot vehicle owners at Total service stations in Tagaytay, Pampanga, and Baguio from March 24 to 27.

Safety on the way to your destination

With the constant demands of work, family, and other responsibilities, it's easy for road trip preparation to slip your mind. That's one of the reasons Peugeot Philippines launched the Drive Away Holiday program for both Peugeot and non-Peugeot owners.

All motorists who stop at the participating Total stations located along Kennon Road, Baguio; San Simon, Pampanga; and Tagaytay City, will receive a free 21-point inspection and safety check.

The comprehensive 21-point safety check will include inspecting the condition of the air conditioning unit, drive belt, f battery, engine, and brakes, as well as a top-up of all fluids.

While waiting, vehicle owners can view the latest Peugeot vehicles. They can also get the chance to win special Peugeot freebies such as vehicle sun shades, keychains, T-shirts, caps, and sports bottles, by joining the special raffle.

More cars mean more risks

Among Peugeot Philippines' reasons for holding the Peugeot Drive Away Holiday program is the need for increased road safety.

The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) have a daily average of 160,000 motorists and 24,000 motorists, respectively. During Holy Week, the volume is expected to increase 15 to 20 percent, with NLEX estimated to receive over 190,000 vehicles per day.

A larger number of vehicles often means increased risk, so it's important to make sure your car is ready for driving long distances.

Let Peugeot share in your Holy Week experience

Another driving force behind the Drive Away Holiday program was the desire to share the Peugeot experience of safety and sensation with Filipino families.

"We know how important it is for Filipinos to be with their families during Holy Week. More importantly, we want to make sure that they reach their destinations on time and in complete safety," Peugeot Philippines president Glen Dasig said.

"We chose Total stations along major highways so anyone can experience our service without going out of their way. And if we can achieve our goal of making Filipino families safer during this special time, that's enough for us."
