LP members back Duterte

DAVAO Oriental Vice Gov. Mayo Almario and his mother, Rep. Thelma Almario, both of the Liberal Party (LP), have declared their support for the presidential bid of Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.

The vice governor said it is “now up to the officials of the Liberal Party if they will kick me out.”

He said he was sure that “95 percent of our people (in Davao Oriental) are going to vote for him.”

Mayo is running to replace his mother, while Thelma is running for governor.
