Las Piñas derby draws huge field

LAS PIÑAS Coliseum’s “Regalo Ni Mayor Nene Sa Mga Sabungero” 5-Cock Derby, set to start on May 11, continues to attract cockers and gamefowl breeders.

The list of entries shot up to 200 as of yesterday, with more expected to register for the 2-cock elimination round on May 11, 18, 25 and June 1 and 8.

The 3-cock finals is on June 15.

The breakdown of prizes are: Champion, P1.1 million; any four points, P350,000; handler, P30,000; gaffer, P20,000.
