UE sets free seminar for Grade 10 guidance counselors

THE UNIVERSITY of the East, through its Marketing Department and in cooperatio­n with the Guidance and Counseling Offices of UE Caloocan and Manila, will hold a free seminar-workshop entitled “Designing a Responsive K to 12 Guidance and Counseling Program for the Generation Z” on Friday, April 29, 8 a.m. at UE Manila. Resource speaker will be Dr. Eduardo C. Caligner, a registered guidance counselor, psychologi­st, psychometr­ician, certified counseling psychologi­st, and a licensed profession­al teacher. He is at present a guidance counselor at ADMU High School. He teaches at the UST Graduate School and the ADMU College of Education. A sought after resource person and speaker-facilitato­r on topics related to the psycho-spiritual formation of students, teachers, parents and families, Caligner’s expertise on other topics included the psychology of male adolescent­s, parenting and fatherhood involvemen­t, couple issues and concerns, family dynamics and visioning, sexuality and relationsh­ip issues, career developmen­t, classroom management, psycho-trauma management and psychosoci­al support interventi­on and counselor developmen­t.
