2 FEU programs declared as Centers of Excellence, Development
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education (CHEd) has designated FEU’s Teacher Education Program and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration as Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development, respectively. Eight programs also achieved Level IV Accredited Status under the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). These were Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accountancy, BS in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, BS in Applied Mathematics with Information Technology, BS in Biology, BS in Psychology, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education. In addition, CHEd renewed FEU’s Autonomous Status from April 1, 2016 to May 31, 2019. SVPAA also gave credit to the offices and personnel that made sure the strength of FEU’s programs were featured in a clear and engaging manner during the accreditation period. “The CHEd COE and COD certifications and PACUCOA Level 4 accreditations that were conferred on a slew of our college programs this year are validations by external parties that FEU is academically ascendant,” said FEU president Michael M. Alba.
