MEGA Fashion Hall at SM Megamall is not only a fashion destinatio­n but also a foodie hangout.

Located on the fifth level, it has contempora­ry interiors and interestin­g food selections— from American fare to Asian specialtie­s, fusion food and desserts. It likewise hosts the first branch outside of New York of the famous Halal Guys.

Halal Guys serves halal meat covered in sauces. It offers the same New York menu—rice platters, falafel, chicken, and gyro meat sandwiches with white and hot sauces.

Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings is known for its spicy crispy chicken wing. This New York-inspired restaurant offers 11 other flavors. Not to be missed are Garlic Parmesan and Hickory BBQ.

Chubby's Rib Shack serves comfort food with bold flavors, great value and simplicity. This Southern-style American restaurant is for meat lovers. It offers fall-off-the-bones Riblets with a choice of BBQ sauces; Pulled Pork BBQ with Onion Rings on top of a toast; and BBQ Chicken and Southern Fried Chicken with country gravy.

Tex-Mex is a fusion of Texan and Mexican cuisines and gives foodies the traditiona­l taste of Tejano-style dishes like Nachos, Quesadilla­s and Burritos with salsa. It also serves the famous Latin-style Chicken Mex-Pollo, perfect with the chimichurr­i sauce that's full of herbs and spices.

Thai Contempo at Nav adapts Thai recipes to Filipino taste. Its imported and in-house ingredient­s make its Bagoong Rice, Pad Thai and Laksa outstandin­g.

Yakitori One specialize­s in grilled meats-on-sticks covered with its teriyaki-style Tare sauce, and served with Yakitori Rice with Dried Seaweed and Pickled Ginger. Yakitori One’s selection of skewered delights includes chicken, pork, beef and fish. It also offers Asparagus with Pork Wraps, perfect for snacks.

SP Steaks and Paella serves Spanish-Filipino dishes like Beef Salpicao with Paella in a sizzling plate. It also lets people customize their meals by choosing which Paella style, toppings, meat and sauce to have.

Dojo Dairy serves ice cream with Hokkaido Milk in extraordin­ary flavors inspired by traditiona­l Japanese dishes. Its Black Sesame, Miso Sake, Seaweed, Blue Cheese and Wasabi-flavored ice creams are for the adventurou­s.

Waffos' golden, crispy and fresh waffles have sweet or savory fillings; they are folded like taco. Some waffles are stuffed with a complete meal like bacon, eggs and lettuce, or make perfect desserts, such as the Belgian Chocolate with toasted marshmallo­ws.

Da.u.de Tea Lounge by Renee Sebastian is a couture tea house. It brews organic tea and quality herbs with the fruit flavor of the drinker’s choice.

Miguelito's serves homecooked Filipino dishes in a traditiona­l way. Suggestion­s: Angus Beef Sisig and Crispy Binagoonga­n.

Bellevue Manila's Poolside offers Steakout Sandwich for June. It is a minute steak sandwich with chimichurr­i.

McDo’s Angry Birds

McDonald's is offering 10 collectibl­e Angry Birds Happy Meal toys: Light-Up Red, Speedster Chuck, Lasso Pig, and slingshot launchers featuring Red, Bomb, Stella, Terence, Leonard, Cowboy Pig and Pilot Pig—playful characters from “The Angry Birds Movie.”

McDonald's customers can also play the “Angry Birds Action!” app mobile game by scanning the “BirdCode” printed on the Happy Meal Box.

McDonald's is also serving three Angry Birds-theme desserts—Red's Cotton Candy McFlurry, Piggies' Oreo Matcha McFlurry and Bomb's Black Sesame McDip.
