-

Loyalty has its rewards. At Suy Sing Commercial Corporation, these are most evident in the way independent Filipino grocers have been reaping success through the years, by being loyal customers of the leading one-stop grocery distribution company in the Philippines.

Suy Sing recently celebrated their long-standing partnerships with Pinoy grocers and trusted FMCG trade partners through the much-anticipated Suki Day with the theme "#SuccessForever." The event, held at the World Trade Center, also highlighted the company's milestone 70 years of bringing success to grocers nationwide.

Signifying how Suy Sing brings the country's leading manufacturing companies together to ensure the success of its loyal grocers, the event opened with Suy Sing officials and FMCG industry leaders displaying their flagship products on the shelves of a typical sari-sari store as they personally welcomed the thousands of Ka-Suy Sings.

Suy Sing's other major grocery industry suppliers participated in the event with very elaborate, colorful and entertaining booths that highlighted their new products, featured games and other gimmicks. Special deals and exciting prizes made the booth-hopping activity even more fun and rewarding.

Continuing on their Suki Success Series, Suy Sing invited Joy Fajardo of Guthrie Jensen for a session on People Handling Skills. The resource speaker empowered hundreds of participants with knowledge and skills to manage their businesses better through people handling techniques. A second session was held in the afternoon as Suy Sing partnered with Century Pacific Food, Inc. and Chiqui Go of Mansmith & Fielders, Inc., as she talked about Business Building Ideas for Growing Retails Sales.

Aside from serving a delicious lunch buffet, Suy Sing also treated more than 4,000 loyal grocers to an exciting show headlined by Showtime host, the "unkabogable" Vice Ganda, as he delighted the audience with song numbers, and his own brand of witty humor. The pair of Alex Gonzaga and Xian Lim hosted the main program wherein grocers received "S Factor" awards for being loyal Ka-Suy Sings for more than 25 to 45 years.

Hundreds of exciting prizes, including plane tickets, gadgets and appliances were raffled off to lucky Ka-Suy Sings. Three grocers, however, emerged as the luckiest of the attendees as they each won a brand new Mitsubishi L300 van in the grand raffle draw. Souvenirs were distributed to all grocers as the ultimate prize for their booth hopping.

Among the celebrities who visited the different Suki Day booths were Alden Richards, Jericho Rosales, Marian Rivera, Megan Young, Ejay Falcon, Richard Poon, Maricar Reyes, and basketball star Greg Slaughter. 70 years of success, for grocers and trade partners Among Suy Sing's well-wishers were key executives of some of the country's biggest manufacturing corporations who recalled how the company has also brought them success as they hoped for many more years of fruitful partnership with the grocery distributor.

"Congratulations to Suy Sing for 70 years. From the very early days, this was actually the very first key account customer service team that we set up way back in the 80s. And that partnership has continued through the years, in all of their endeavors, in terms of projects, when it comes to logistics, organization, brand launches, promotions, and brand development" said Bryan Wong, Procter & Gamble Philippines, Inc. Customer Business Development Director.

"I want to wish them all the best for the 70th year success and we look forward to more productive and innovative ideas on how to be able to build long- term programs that will really help these sari- sari stores to carry more of our products. And we know that they have a very good internal sales and promotion systems, and we'll continue to work with them and look forward to really work with them long term," added Ruffy Tiam Lee, Monde Nissin Corporation Chief Marketing Officer.
