UP LAW CLASS ’76 MARKS 40TH YEAR

The alumni of the University of the Philippine­s College of Law will hold their annual homecoming and reunion on Nov. 25 at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La with the Class of 1991 as host.

Among the celebratin­g alumni are this year’s Ruby Jubilarian­s, the Class of 1976, who will mark their 40th year of graduation from the college, the first batch of post-martial law graduates.

Led by class president Vicki delos Reyes, the class boasts of outstandin­g members, including three justices of the Sandiganba­yan and the Court of Appeals, three regional trial court, one university president, three law school deans and several prominent practition­ers, law lecturers, and executives of big corporatio­ns, banks and government offices.

‘Present Perfect’

The Class of ‘76 is putting up a coffee-table book titled ‘‘Present Perfect’’ to memorializ­e the four decades of their contributi­on to the legal profession and the nation’s developmen­t in general.

The book’s editors, lawyers Jorge Cabildo, Moises Tolentino Jr., Dave Simon, Willy Trinidad, Randy Salazar and Lucien Sayuno announced that the class has also put up a special souvenir publicatio­n which carries a complete list of UP Law graduates from 1913 to 2016.

To be distribute­d free to attendees at the homecoming event, the publicatio­n will serve as the contributi­on of Class ’76 to this year’s UP Law alumni get-together celebratio­n.
