Under Ecarp, schools initiate programs that promote reading and literacy. It also provides teacher training activities. Basa Pilipinas United States Agency For Internatio­nal Developmen­t (Usaid)Usaid Philippine­s This program is Usaid Philippine­s’ flagship basic education project in support of the government's implementa­tion of the language and literacy component of the K to 12 curriculum for Grades 1 to 3. It seeks to improve reading instructio­n, reading delivery systems and access to quality reading materials. Bright Minds Read Ronald McDonald House Charities A reading program for elementary kids designed in response to DepEd's reading program.
