The Dalmore King Alexander III on display

The Dalmore, the definitive luxury single malt whisky since 1893, currently features the King Alexander III set against a backdrop of the "Fury of the Stag" by renowned painter Benjamin West on a window display in Rustan's Makati, at the corner of Glorietta 4. The painting illustrates the embodiment of bravery when Colin of Kintail, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, took a bold decision to stand against a charging stag, thus saving the life of King Alexander III of Scotland-an event that defined The Dalmore's profound history dating back in 1263. The Dalmore King Alexander III, the only single malt in the world to unite a unique six cask finish, is matured in American White Oak Casks, Madeira Drums, Marsala Barrels, Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Barriques, 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry Butts and Port Pipes. It has the aroma of red berry fruits, fresh flowers and passion fruit; the taste of citrus zest, vanilla pod, crème caramel and crushed almonds; and a sweet cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger finish. Aside from the window display, The Dalmore currently offers a complimentary dram of The Dalmore 15 Year Old, from their display in the men's section of Rustan's Makati Department store, for customers who have made a purchase of at least PhP1,000 in a single transaction. For instance, The Dalmore Brilliance, a one-of-a-kind 1926 single-malt whisky, set a world record when it sold for PhP15 million, in a liquor sale at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The Dalmore Constellation Vintage 1951, a rare 60 year old, was also sold in an auction in Singapore for 350,000 Singapore dollars.
