Amaster’s home

ROLAND ANDRES President, Frontline

-

He is definitely the “master of the house”—being the architect and designer of his family’s dream home in Acropolis, Libis.

Doing mostly residential projects since 1991, Architect Roland Andres’ passion for his craft is highly evident in the family’s home, which evokes a highly comforting vibe.

“Architecture and design are something that I have always wanted, piqued my interest, and captured my attention. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated by these towering structures and landmarks that not a day would pass that I will not scribble or doodle something,” Andres related.

Andres, together with his partners, established in 1993 Frontline, an architectural firm based in Cainta, Rizal. The firm focuses on space planning and interior design of residential and commercial projects.

Frontline currently caters to the clients’ personal needs, taking pride in its personalized clientele experience and attention to detail.

“My first project came while I was still studying in UST. I was tasked to design a small office building—a project that I got through a friend. After that, various projects came in. I worked as a draftsman for three months but then after that I decided to start my own firm,” he recalled.

Working hard to fulfill a dream and satify his passion, Andres has worked non-stop to deliver well thought out structure plans including those for other houses within their neighborhood in Acropolis.

“There were really tough days. But if it’s your passion, giving up is never an option. Designing our home is one of the most challenging yet satisfying part of my career because the pressure to have it perfectly executed is there. But there’s also that immense satisfaction, knowing fully well that it’s your wife and kids who would be enjoying the beauty and comfort of the house that you built,” Andres shared.

Currently, Andres together with his staff is looking forward to doing more projects that could help redefine the way people live.

And as the “master of the house,” Andres is fully aware that for Frontline to remain relevant in today’s highly fickle market, they must continuously learn and hone their craft.

“Our firm is bent to deliver only the best and is committed to ensure the satisfaction of our clients. As we are the masters of the firm, we will make sure to deliver the latest trends or whatever it is that will satisfy and please our clients,” Andres concluded.
