STA. LUCIA LAND INC.
MEGAWORLD LIFESTYLE MALLS
Sta. Lucia Land, headed by its president Exequiel Robles, had shown why even after more than four decades in the business, it continues to thrive as a brand that perfectly encapsulated the Filipino culture and tradition of celebrations.
A dinner dance thanksgiving party regaled Sta. Lucia Land’s officials, sellers, marketing arms, partners, stakeholders, and customers on the night of December 30, made even more memorable by entertainers like Ethel Booba, who brought the house down with high-level performances and stand up comedy routines.
The night of non-stop dancing and raffle draws was capped off by a 10-minute dazzling display of fireworks, as if to signal that a new dawn has come and that great beginnings can be expected in 2017.
Held last December 30, revelers on the east side of the metro were given by Sta. Lucia Land the privilege to welcome the New Year a day earlier than everyone else.
Eastwood City welcomed 2017 with much fanfare and partying that left its residents and guests reveling in high spirits and energy on the eve of December 31.
Amid a cheerful crowd, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls had yet again set the bar a notch higher for the New Year’s Eve celebration as it had its own version of the ball drop, dubbed the Star Drop.
Eastwood City Mall’s own New Year countdown was inspired by the world-famous Ball Drop at the Times Square in New York. This annual celebration held at the Eastwood Mall open park gathered thousands of people from all over the metro and had run from 6 p.m. of December 31 to the wee hours of 2017, making the event one of the longest and most attended celebrations to welcome the new year in the country.
Sharing a toast to welcome 2017 were celebrities including Janeena Chan, R&B artist SaBu, American singer-songwriter Phoebe Ryan, members of local band Up Dharma Down, recording star Darren Espanto and radio jock Nikko Ramos. Other performers included Lenses, Sud, Maude and Broadway Star Rachelle Ann Go.
