WILCON GIVES BACK WITH GOLF TOURNEY

Wilcon Depot, the country’s premiere home building merchandis­e store, held its Third Wilcon Cup last January 19 at Tagaytay Highlands.

The golf tournament saw the participat­ion of over a hundred of Wilcon partners, valued suppliers, select customers, and media partners.

As a company that values the virtue of giving back to the community, proceeds of the Wilcon Cup will go to the Wilcon Foundation to assist in the organizati­on’s free education programs; and to the Crocodylus Porosus Philippine­s, Inc., to help in their commitment to preserve the crocodiles in the country.

"This is the third year of the Wilcon Cup, and it feels great to see familiar faces and new ones as well. In behalf of Wilcon, we are thankful for the continued support of our partners. The Wilcon Cup is one of our ways to express our appreciati­on to them for their loyalty and trust to Wilcon Depot,” noted Wilcon SEVP-COO Rosemarie Ong.

The Third Wilcon Cup was made possible through the help of the company’s partners and suppliers. Hole-in-One sponsors included Audi, Delta Airlines, and Toby’s Sports. Platinum sponsors: Grohe, Boysen, Davies, Mariwasa, HCG, Franke, and Matimco.

The game’s diamond sponsors were Kent, Formosa, American Standard, Asian Coatings, ABC, Landlite, and Philips. Gold sponsors: Bestank, Black and Decker, Globe Tape, Handle Bar, Limson, NKD, Yatai, and Republic Cement, while silver sponsors were Brills, Continenta­l, Fortress, Justino, KPlast, Main Hardware, James Hardie, and Rep Chem.

Wilcon Depot’s media partners include the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Realty TV, Manila Bulletin, Homebase, One Mega Group, and ABS-CBN.

Wilcon Depot is celebratin­g their fourth decade in the industry this 2017.

It is also set to list at the Philippine Stock Exchange within the first quarter of this year.
