Each year the world’s favorite Brazilian flip-flop brand, Havaianas, gives every Havaianatico a chance to step into different worlds with fun themes at the Make Your Own Havaianas event, where flip-flop fans can customize their own pairs.

Previous events have taken everyone to colorful Brazil, sunny Hawaii and kawaii Japan. This year, Havaianas returns to the ’90s!

It was an awesome decade—from the music to the fashion, the movies to the TV shows, the toys and games, to the slang.

This year’s commemorative pair is a total must-have: It comes in a classic black sole with pixels, inspired by the 8-bit video games that defined the decade. It’s available in adult and kids sizes.

The totally rad pins are also ’90s-themed: a TV, cassette tape, boom box and a video game icon. There’s a pin that simply says “I <3 90s” for those who lived through this rad time.

Havaianas has also come up with glow-in-the-dark pins in five super fun designs: lightning bolt, smiley, star, lips and the letters M-Y-O-H.

Havaianas will also make use of 3D printing technology to print pins before your eyes. These pins are customizable with different initials.

Make Your Own Havaianas will happen May 12-14 at SM Mega Fashion Hall; May 18-21 at All Flip-Flops Bonifacio High Street, SMCity Tarlac, SM City Iloilo; May 25-28 at Alabang Town Center’s Activity Center, All Flip-Flops SM City Naga, SM City Cabanatuan; June 1-4 at All Flip-Flops Robinsons Place Ermita, Sole Patrol Robinsons Calasiao; June 8-12 at All Flip-Flops TriNoma and Ayala Center Cebu; June 15-18 at All Flip-Flops SM Mall of Asia, SM Seaside City Cebu and SM Lanang Premier; June 22-25 at Common Thread Power Plant Mall, Rockwell; and June 29-July 2 at All Flip-Flops SM Megamall, SM City Cagayan de Oro and Red Dot Robinsons Place Ilocos.
