- DALGO —VANESSA B. HI-

It’s all systems go for Koronadal City’s attempt to break two Guinness world records—Most Engines Started Simultaneously and Most Motorcycle Horns Sounded Simultaneously.

Multitiered security measures are being implemented for the three-day 23rd National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs Annual Convention which be- gins Friday, according to Mayor Peter Miguel.

“We will have a lot of VIPs joining our bid to make it to Guinness,” said Miguel.

Yamaha Motor Philippines currently holds both records—most engines started simultaneously at 1,446 and most motorcycle horns sounded simultaneously at 1,425—achieved on June 7, 2014 at Mall of Asia complex in Pasay.

Miguel expects motorcycle enthusiasts to come in full force, including those from nearby towns like Banga, Surallah, Lake Sebu, Tupi, Polomolok and Tantangan.

“We’re confident we can do it,” said Miguel.
