FPPF WELCOMES & PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS AT FORT SANTIAGO

-

For students, out-of-school youth, professional, employees and other professionals can learn photography as a worthwhile hobby or professional while professional photographers can learn more to be more competitive.

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) is offering basic photo course for beginners and special courses for professionals. Venue is the historic Fort Santiago.

Eduviges Y. Huang, chairperson of the FPPF, said for beginners there is a lesson plan that will enable them to acquire the basic skills to operate a camera and take good photos in 5 days or 40 hours. She said there is an even shorter time to teach corporate employees how to operate the camera and come up with nicely composed pictures.

The modules are now packaged for corporations as they now realize the value of good photography in communication.

With trained photo staff, companies enjoy better presentations and find their communication better understand because of visuals. Better pictures also indispensable to effective social networking.

Not only students and out-of-school youth but also professionals like doctors, bankers, dentist, engineers, teachers, journalists, architects, accountants, nurses, designers, artists, as well as showbiz personalities like Smokey Manoloto, adventurers and even priests and nuns found their way to Fort Santiago to learn photography. There were also generals and justices and government officials. There are also foreigners, men and women. Participants can choose whether on weekdays or weekends. The next 5-Saturday basic photography seminar will start on April 22. The next advanced photography course will be on May 27. FPPF also offers one-Saturday seminar on Lightroom on April 29 and Strobist on April 22.
