Last night, in a milestone event marked by glitz, glamour, and grandeur, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation celebrated in a grand fashion the official local launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Surrounded by mirrors, bright lights, and swatches of black and white, the venue exuded limitlessness. Up front, the stunningly eye-catching facade of mirrors became the subject of countless photos of both guests and passers-by. Taking a step inside, guests were welcomed with awe as the Infinity Room appeared like a vast galaxy of stars.

Hosted by none other than brand ambassador, loyal Sam- sung user, and multi-hyphenated artist Solenn Heussaff, the program's highlight was the grand reveal. It was marked by a never-done-before spectacular light show by international light artist Hamal al Jalaq who flew specifically from Bahrain for this special event. Guests crossed over to the after-party venue where they were welcomed by spectacular Infinity Dancers, serenaded by the MSO Quartet, and partied to the beats of DJ Kristian Hernandez. All around, the area had mirror installations further visualizing the concept of infinity. All this was captured on Facebook Live directed by host extraordinaire Tim Yap.
But while the venue and the people were eye-catching, the true stars of event cannot be ignored - the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Only positive exclamations can be heard from the guests as they praised the beauty of the Galaxy S8 and S8+'s Infinity Design. For those who've tried it for the first time, the iris scanner and facial recognition both don't fail to impress. While new features claim the spotlight, Samsung's well-loved camera still made itself prominent as guests made use of the displayed phones to capture the memorable moments of the night.
And as the night was truly special, the event was flooded by celebrities, known personalities, and esteemed partners, all who were driven by their excitement to see Samsung's latest innovation. Apart from the beautiful Samsung ambassador Solenn Heussaff who surely made the guests feel at home with her wit and charm, among the guests who showed their support were celebrities Kylie Versoza, Alice Dixon, Bianca King, Tippy Dos Santos, Bianca Gonzalez, and Christian Bautista to name a few. Also present were influencers Cristalle Belo-Pitt, Phoemela Barranda, Nico Bolzico, Carla Humphries, Richard Juan, Chi Gibbs, and Anton Cruz. They were joined by personalities from different industries -Pat Dy, Sidney Yap, Justin Pitt, and many more. And last but not the least, representatives from Samsung's esteemed partners came to show their support - Smart, Globe, Lazada, and Abensons.
