IP Education Festival at USeP Pamulaan Center
In celebration of the fifth Local Educators Advancement Program (LEAP V) dubbed as 2017 National Indigenous Peoples Education Festival, the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP)-Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples Education welcomed Vice President Leni Robredo last May 15 at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Mintal Campus, Davao City. Robredo served as the keynote speaker and delivered a speech on the role of education in uplifting the Indigenous Peoples (IP) in the Philippines. USeP president Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, in her message said that USeP is a staunch advocate of further advancing IP education and it shall continue to open its doors to future collaborations. She also mentioned that in a government that encourages change, she believed that LEAP V will also bring significant changes to the lives and communities of the IPs.
