Hot new model opens Bridal Fashion Week for Rosa Clará
Model Mariana Downing, in the news these days as the girlfriend of international Latin superstar Marc Anthony, recently walked the runway in a stunning wedding gown during Bridal Fashion Week in Barcelona, Spain.
The alluring 21-year-old wore a georgette column wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline from the 2018 Rosa Clará Bridal Collection. The Spanish brand is known for its timeless yet sophisticated bridal gowns that celebrate femininity.
Downing is the epitome of a Rosa Clará woman—spirited, sensual and with a flair for fashion. She also modeled another princess-inspired design, this time in tulle. “This dress is my favorite, it makes me feel like a real princess,” said the international model.
Although Mariana confirmed that she has no intention of getting married any time soon, the model did not hesitate when she was asked how she would like her big day to be: “I want something very simple. I imagine myself at the beach, surrounded by my family, my friends and standing next to a kindhearted man.”
The Rosa Clará 2018 Collection focuses on embracing the female figure with romantic bridal gowns. Ethereal lines and delicate fabrics evoke femininity from an elegant point of view. This new collection’s standout features are sheer fabrics, lace and plunging necklines. “The fabrics used in the collection adapt well to the body and highlight the female figure,” said Rosa Clará. “We are presenting the sexiest collection I have ever designed. ”
Chantilly and French lace are the star fabrics of this collection. The layering adds lightness to the bridal gowns, with lingerie-inspired bodices over nude organza and tulle, combined with open-front skirts and light capes.
Other notable faces who graced the catwalk were models Rocio Crusset in a mer- maid-style lace wedding dress and beaded guipure, and Jordan Van der Vyver in a lightweight silk chiffon dress with long sleeves and a beaded lace bodice. Joan Sanz closed the show in a gorgeous Bohemian-inspired lace wedding dress that speaks true of the brand’s romantic philosophy.
The Rosa Clará 2018 Collection will be available at The Residences at Greenbelt and at their new location at S Maison starting July 2018.
