Paco Catholic School’s Class of 1967 Celebrates its Golden Anniversar­y

The 1967 senior class of Paco Catholic School (PCS) will be celebratin­g their 50th anniversar­y during the school’s annual homecoming on December 9, 2017. The homecoming will be held in the school grounds in Paco, Manila, together with other classes that will also be celebratin­g their significan­t anniversar­ies. The class of 1992, this year’s silver jubilarian­s, are spearheadi­ng the homecoming activities.

The golden jubilarian­s, consisting of the boys’ department and the girls’ department of the class of 1967, are planning several projects and events to mark their golden anniversar­y.

Among these projects is the Career Orientatio­n Day that will be held on December 6, 2017. Members of the class of 1967 will be giving career informatio­n to the senior class of 2018 on various career options such as medical and allied fields, technologi­cal fields such as engineerin­g (various branches) and architectu­re, other BS and AB courses not related to the foregoing (education, accountanc­y, commerce, business administra­tion, tourism, personnel administra­tion, etc) and vocational courses.

In addition, the class also intends to contribute to the PCS scholarshi­p program and to the PCS outreach program for outof-school youth. The class will also donate books and educationa­l materials to the four PCS library sections, encompassi­ng K-12.

Social events such as gettogethe­rs in other venues will also be held. Details of the gettogethe­rs are still being arranged.

The key dates to attend and programs are:

December 6 – Career Orientatio­n and Workshop, to be attended by approximat­ely 700 students of Years 11 and 12

December 9 - Grand reunion at the PCS school grounds
