A DOTING FATHER

WILLY N. OCIER VICE CHAIRMAN Belle Corp.

-

It is no surprise for a man to be behind a prominent firm.

But it is quite extraordinary that someone who is a vanguard in leisure living to act as the father to his team.

Perhaps it was the legacy of his father, Benito Tan Guat, that has shaped Willy Ocier into what he is today. More than just the vice chair of Belle Corp. and one of the great minds behind Tagaytay Highlands, Ocier is also a second father, an inspiration, and a mentor to his employees.

Ocier made great strides trailing the footsteps of his father who, from the very start, believed in his vision of a leisure mountain community outside the metro.

It is not easy to be a boss, but Ocier, fondly called W or Sir Willy by his colleagues and staff, undoubtedly walks the talk. His being a father does not stop within the confines of his home and to his own children, but extends to his work.

Ocier stood as a second father to the employees of Belle, considering them to be part of a family who works hand in hand in providing the finer things in life through leisure, recreation, and entertainment.

He fosters camaraderie and teamwork by recognizing the contribution of each staff. He has since been a hands-on and a generous leader, making sure they are immersed in a decent working environment.

Tagaytay Highlands can sure be considered as a testament to this fatherhood that has touched the lives of those whom he has worked with.

Ocier has patterned what is now known as the premier mountain resort complex af- ter a lifestyle he envisioned for him and his family. Today, it is the favored getaway of the privileged few, considered an escape from the hustle and bustle of fast-paced city life.

More importantly, Ocier enjoys the fruits of his hard work and passion together with the people who share the same desire and appreciation for the finest things in life.

Similar to how a father wants only the best for his children, the future remains bright at Tagaytay Highlands and at Belle—undoubtedly with a brilliant leadership and a father figure like Ocier.

?? As told by Belle Corp. employees ?? Ocier is a second father, an inspiration, and a mentor to his employees. Ocier fosters camaraderie by recognizing the contribution of each staff.
