MakatiMed’s BEAT newsletter is lauded at the Quill Awards
Makati Medical Center, the Philippines’ premier healthcare institution, won an award for merit for the MakatiMed BEAT Newsletter at the 15th Philippine Quill Awards.
The MakatiMed BEAT, which communicates corporate, medical, and institutional news and updates to MakatiMed’s doctors, employees, partners, and patients, was given the Merit Award under the category of Communication Skills: Publications.

Recently held at the Marriot Grand Ballroom, the Philippine Quill Awards is the prestigious and most comprehensive awards in business communication. The first chapter outside North America of the international IABC, a global network of around 15,500 business communicators in 80 countries, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines gathers annually to recognize outstanding work in the industry.
MakatiMed BEAT previously won a Silver Anvil at the 52nd Anvil Awards, presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). Every year, the PRSP honors outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners.
