De Montfort University awards SISFU graduates First Class Honors
After three years of consistent academic excellence, 11 of Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities’ (SISFU) students have been awarded with First Class Honors by De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester, United Kingdom. Christian Aaron Alvarez (Summa Cum Laude), Hajer Ashraf (Magna Cum Laude), Joanna Pauline Bugayong, Abigael Maan Escobar (Magna Cum Laude), Exequiela Gonzales (Summa Cum Laude), Melissa Francesca Gonzales (Magna Cum Laude), Sarah Muhsen (Magna Cum Laude), Rachel Myka Royena (Magna Cum Laude), Daniel Steel, Iris Grace Tanael and Gayle Zosa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree. The above DMU degree program (also called top-up) follows an extensive two-year study in Management and Marketing under the Higher National Diploma (HND) from Pearson, UK. Exequiela Gonzales explained that the HND and the DMUcurricula are especially designed to equip students with all the skills and principles necessary for the business world. According to Aaron Alvarez, he has learned a vast amount of knowledge at SISFU--from the four P's of Marketing to the teachings of international Marketing gurus. He stressed that above and beyond learning the theories and concepts in business, he has imbibed something far more valuable: how to stay driven in achieving one's goals. The aforementioned DMUstudents formally graduated on June 21, 2017.
