Ayala Land helps people get ready for the holidays with Pop UpTown, a Christmas bazaar that will offer items not usually found in commercial establishments.

At Circuit Makati on Chino Roces Avenue, the bazaar will be held Nov. 17-19. This is the fourth year the Ayala development project will host the pre-Christmas event.

Arca South in Taguig City will become Pop Up Town on Dec. 2-3.

The “town” will be divided into four zones—Pop Up Shop, Pop Up Market, Pop Up Gallery and Pop Up Local—with over 200 curated shops, food and beverages, novelty items, essential accessories, rare finds and preloved pieces.

Families can enjoy different activities like outdoor film screenings, art workshops, battle of the bands and live acoustic performances.

For anyone interested, there will also be an inflatable obstacle course as well as a “Wacky” obstacle run.

Adding luster to the twin events is the participation of celebrities who will share unique brands and preloved items at the Star Avenue section.

Among those who will grace Star Avenue are Janice de Belen, Kaila Estrada, Inah de Belen, Ara Mina, Danita Paner, Maricar Reyes Poon, Marissa Sanchez, Nikki Valdez and Miriam Quiambao.

Exhibitor Para sa Sining will showcase Philippine arts and culture through original pieces rendered on postcards and other media.

Siklo has turned discarded motorcycle (hence, the name) inner tubes into belts, pouches and purses.

Products from Ayala Land’s partner communities will also be showcased, supported through the Alagang Ayala program that aims to inspire and spark entrepreneurial spirit among community members.

Papelikhaan has mobilized a workforce consisting primarily of housewives to recycle paper into bags, flowerpots and other decorative items.

Karl Edwards International and Passion Fly will bring together startup businesses. They include travel essentials, aromatherapy supplies like scented candles and oils, baby musthaves and many other artisanal crafts and products.

Mommy Mundo will have essentials for new mothers and their babies, while Mercato Centrale, considered the No. 1 food business incubator as it supports new innovative and sustainable food businesses, will feature a wide selection of eats, including Japanese takoyaki and grilled fare.

Pop Up Town visitors who will shop using their MasterCard (a copresenter), will have the chance to win prizes and enjoy perks—from hassle-free shopping to free entrance to the bazaar at both the Circuit and Arca South.

Event partner Grab will offer discounted rides to and from the venues. Visitors to the bazaar, which is also co-presented by Fox Life, can get free shuttle rides to the venues in select areas across Metro Manila, as well as free parking.
