ADMU PARTNERS WITH UK’S QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY

-

Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) is launching a landmark partnership with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) to bring together the strengths of these two institutions to help students become groundbreakers and thoughtleaders of the digital age.

The partnership supports the plans of QMUL to diversify its international partnerships activity and strengthen further its links in the Asean region.

The programmes being de- veloped with ADMU are in the areas of big data science and digital innovation, and will equip students with the digital skills they need to navigate a more knowledge-based global economy.

QMUL has over 130 years of teaching excellence, and ranks in the top 25 in the world for its international outlook.

The partnership between ADMU and QMUL is in part a result of the joint Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and British Council ( BC) initiative Partnership under the Joint Development of Niche Programs.

Under this initiative, CHED and BC provided seed funding and capacity building for 10 Philippine universities to partner with UK institutions towards the development and delivery of transnational education programs (TNE) in niche areas critical to national and regional development.
