Lazada online sellers to triple profits this Xmas
E-commerce company Lazada expects to double the visits to its site from last year’s record with its Online Revolution until Dec. 12.
With an expected 150 million visits, sales uplift for sellers are expected to triple from last year’s performance.
Recently, a conference for sellers was held to officially launch Online Revolution.
With the theme “Shop the Universe,” Lazada executives shared business strategies and tools for sellers to make the most out of the month-long shopping event.
In a recently released online study on holiday shopping, Lazada ranked as the go to shopping website for Filipinos.
Since its inception in 2012, Lazada Philippines has grown to become the leading online shopping and selling destination in the country.
“Lazada is the only viable way to build a scalable e-commerce business in the Philippines. We are fundamentally changing the way people do business," according to Inanc Balci, Lazada Philippines CEO.
"Together with our sellers, Lazada is proud to lead the way in empowering more customers and changing the shopping landscape in the Philippines through our technology-driven platform,” he added.
With over 10 million ecommerce buyers today, Balci believes that the Philippines can be the online shopping capital of the world.
With an additional 63 million active Facebook users, Lazada has a huge consumer base to fuel seller growth.
More than 12,000 active sell- ers have already found sustainability and success on Lazada’s platform.
These sellers offer a wide assortment of products that now reach customers in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
