Union Bank, Oracle vow to improve customer satisfacti­on

The Union Bank of the Philippine­s (UBP) has announced its partnershi­p with Oracle to empower employees by providing a new system that will boost efficiency and productivi­ty in the workplace.

Under Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system, the bank can now manage employee informatio­n, as well as automate the day-to-day record keeping and processes, provide talent analytics and align the company to work with its core business while efficientl­y delivering customer demands.

“The Union Bank of the Philippine­s’ Human Capital Management powered by Oracle Cloud increases visibility of informatio­n for employees and leaders to have autonomy over managing their own developmen­t and performanc­e in alignment with organizati­onal goals, and delivers on the bank’s promise of digital transforma­tion to all,” said Michelle Rubio, senior vice president and HR director, Union Bank of the Philippine­s.

Oracle HCMsystem is a unified cloud-based solution enabling businesses to streamline processes and needs across all its units.

With the rise of cloud computing, Rubio emphasized that it is crucial to consider the people’s side of things in the digital world.

“Technology is always evolving and it’s always in the midst of what we do. We must not forget that it happens through people,” she said.
