LOS ANGELES— There were eight, yes eight, after-parties that simultaneously began when the 75th Golden Globe Awards ended. There were usually only five or six after-parties, enough to tire even the most energetic party animal, all within the premises of The Beverly Hilton.

But with the brand-new Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills opening right next door, more party venues became available.

NBC and Netflix grabbed the chance to host Golden Globe after-parties at Waldorf for the first time.

At Netflix, the guests, many of whom followed the night’s wear-black mandate, stood out in contrast to the bash’s red everything—drapes, carpets, tables, sofas and walls in the ballroom. A unique touch was a red wall where whitegloved hands offered glasses of champagne. These hands also swayed and danced and even playfully mussed guests’ hair. Bubbly occasionally spilled, of course, but guests simply laughed.

Netflix even offered free flip-flops for ladies dying to shuck their stilettos.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Seth Meyers (fresh from hosting the Globes show), and the cast of “This Is Us” led the guests at NBC’s party at Jean-Georges.

Back at The Beverly Hilton, InStyle/Warner Bros.’ bash at the Oasis Courtyard was, as usual, among the liveliest and had the most stylish interiors.

In a huge majestic white tent accented by white roses and sofas and elegant chandeliers on the ceiling, folks, including FilAm actor Vincent Rodriguez III, boogied to deejay music.

Fox’s party was one of the most well-attended since the studio’s sister company, Fox Searchlight, was the evening’s biggest winner with six Golden Globes. Fox converted the top floor of the hotel’s parking structure into a vast party that managed to feel cozy.

Fil-Ams Darren Criss and Robert “Bobby” Lopez chatted as the latter’s wife, Kristen Anderson Lopez, showed off her glittering skull purse in honor of “Coco’s” theme dealing with the dearly departed.

Amazon Studios took over The Stardust Lounge where DJs Mark and Samantha Ronson successfully lured guests like Chris Hemsworth, Matt Damon and director Taika Waititi to the dancefloor.

Over at Focus Features’ party, held in a tent on the Merv Griffin Way, the guest list included best actor-drama winner Gary Oldman and Viola Davis.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which votes on and presents the Globes, hosted an after-party for the first time. Under a tent in The Wilshire Garden, newly minted Globe winners trooped in because of this bash’s unique feature. It had an engraving station where winners had their trophies etched with their names.

HBO took over the Circa 55 restaurant and poolside, as usual. Traditionally one of the best Golden Globe after-parties, HBO’s bash did not disappoint with many stars gracing the venue where an instant floor covered the pool, as in years past. Mariah Carey dropped in at the HBO party in a mermaid gown. The cast from “Big Little Lies” and “Game of Thrones” kept this bash jumping.
