Cops found using death squad style vs drug suspects
VERACRUZ— Prosecutors in the corruption-plagued Mexican state of Veracruz said police had set up units that used dirty war, death squad-style tactics to abduct, kill and dispose of the bodies of at least 15 people suspected of being drug cartel informers and runners. Prosecutors said youths were abducted, turned over to secret police teams, killed and their bodies disposed of.
