Boyce Avenue back to PH on June 1
Boyce Avenue, the pop band that went viral online for its acoustic covers of contemporary and classic hits, will return to the Philippines for a one-night concert on June 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, according to local promoter Wilbros Live.
Composed of brothers Alejandro, Fabian and Daniel Manzano, the group’s covers and original material on the video-sharing site YouTube alone have amassed over 3.8 billion views. On Spotify, meanwhile, Boyce Avenue has 4.7 million
listeners monthly.
The American trio will be joined onstage by Filipino singersongwriter Moira dela Torre, a former “The Voice of the Philippines” contestant, who has endeared herself to young music fans with her hit “Malaya” and slowed-down covers of current hits.
