‘A BOON TO WOMEN’

-

Using laser since 2015, Dr. Maripaz Rama describes Femilift as a breakthrough technology. "It is a boon to women, especially in the perimenopausal and menopausal age group," she says. "It treats the genito-urinary syndrome of menopause; reinforces and tones tissues after delivery; and provides significant reduction in stress urinary incontinence."

Rama is a member of the Aesthetic Gynecology Society of the Philippines and a senior member of the European Society of Aesthetic Gynecology.

Approved by the FDA, Femilift uses a minimally invasive, third-generation fractional CO2 laser which emits pulses of light energy. The procedure entails inserting a laser tube into the vaginal canal. Tiny laser beams seep into the vaginal wall to reach the level under the skin where the collagen is pro- duced.

Her best success case is a 62year-old mother who stopped leaking after the first session.

Then there are patients who experience relief from vaginal dryness after the first session. A 54-year-old patient with vaginal dryness reported that she felt natural moisture after her first session. After her second treatment, her husband welcomed the change and complimented her.
