Finally, a solution to women’s ‘hidden’ problems
Vaginal laxity, redness, painful sex—now, doctors are using new technology to address common concerns
Laser treatments to improve the appearance of the vagina have been popularized by aesthetic centers. However, gynecologists are using lasers to treat medical conditions common in women, including urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and vaginal laxity that can hamper either normal activities or sex.
The procedure requires three sessions performed every four weeks with a "touch-up" after a year.
For Women’s Month of March, SpectruMed, the premium provider of aesthetic lasers and minimally invasive medical devices, gathered a group of respected gynecologists to discuss women’s reproductive health andhowlasers have successfully treated vaginal conditions with no pain, downtime or side effects.
As a service to the community, SpectruMed launched a Facebook page, Let’s Talk V, which provides information about feminine care, information on vulvar and vaginal health, a series of live discussions with experts and a locator page listing the clinics offering the FDA-approved vaginal laser therapies.
On March 6 at 1 p.m. Let’s Talk V will present aesthetic gynecologist, Dr. Annebelle Aherrera, who will discuss vaginal looseness in different age groups, vaginal flatulence, inflammation, painful intercourse, bleeding after sex or lack of sensation during sex. Follow /LetsTalkV in facebook
