- By Sofia Nagrampa and Bambi Ricafort

For those commemorating the Holy Week holiday with their loved ones through cozy staycations, Makati Shangri-la invites families to partake in their Easter Holiday festivities, beginning March 23 until April 1.

Families are also invited to avail of their Family Easter Break, a stay which includes breakfasts and exciting activities for parents with two kids, who are six years old and below. This promo can be purchased for a minimum of P8,200 when booked between March 23 to April 1.

From March 26th to April 1st, Easter afternoon teas will be held at the Lobby Lounge from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for P1,535.00. The mainstay lunch and brunch settings will be held on April 1 at Circles Event Café, Shang Palace, Inagiku, and Sage Bespoke Grill.

Shangri-La will also offer Easter treats to satisfy the appetite of the little ones, pre- senting them with a variety of chocolate bunnies, lollies, party colored eggs, and nests adorned with candy flowers. Apart from these tasteful treats, the kids will be showered with screenings of beloved animated movies in the hotel’s 3rd floor function rooms. They can also participate in engaging arts and crafts sessions, which range from cupcake decorating to painting Rafa the Rabbit, the hotel’s resident adventurer.

All the activities culminate in the much-awaited Easter Sunday Family Fair held in the Rizal Ballroom, where the kids can run amok on an Easter Egg Hunt, watch a fun-filled show, and play games from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while awaiting their turn for a meet and greet with Rafa the Rabbit.

When they tire of these jampacked activities, they can head to the food and beverage stations to re-energize themselves. The original ticket price of the fair is P1,500, yet a 20% discount is given to families who avail of the Family Easter Break.
