PAL CELEBRATES INDEPENDEN­CE DAY WITH 70-PERCENT-OFF TREAT

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the national carrier and the first and only 4-star airline from the Philippine­s, celebrates the Philippine­s’ 120th Independen­ce Day with another big seat sale ongoing until June 3.

As a way of giving back to Filipinos, PAL is offering big discounts of up to 70 percent on 42 internatio­nal and 33 domestic destinatio­ns from the flag carrier’s four hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.

“The year 2018 was off to a good start. Since PAL was awarded a 4-Star Full Service Airline rating in February, we have been busy making progress in our core missions: to continuous­ly enhance our services, to build up a younger, stronger fleet of great airplanes, to expand our route network and reach more customers and more markets, to make Asia’s first airline one of the world’s best. Now, it’s our turn to give back and share the excitement,” said PAL president and chief operating officer Dr. Jaime J. Bautista.

One-way economy base fares for local destinatio­ns such as Batanes, Palawan, Siargao and Tuguegarao will go as low as P299.

Round-trip economy base fares for internatio­nal destinatio­ns are also available: Kuala Lumpur for as low as $99, Japan for as low as $199, and New York for as low as $659.

“This Independen­ce Day, we are giving Filipinos the freedom to fly and make their travel dreams come true. We are offering big discounts on our local and internatio­nal destinatio­ns as well as great deals on our new Premium Economy and Business Class seats,” said Ria C. Domingo, PAL vice presi- dent for marketing.

Economy passengers can choose to elevate their flight experience with PAL’s new Premium Economy Class, starting from $299 from Manila to Hong Kong. The new Premium Economy Class boasts wider seats with 38 inches of legroom and up to 8-in recline, a bigger screen for in-flight entertainm­ent and more baggage allowance for packing convenienc­e.

World-class luxury from the national carrier can also be enjoyed on PAL’s Business Class, starting from $399 from Manila to Kuala Lumpur. Businesscl­ass cabins boast full-course meals, compliment­ary welcome drinks, state-of-the-art entertainm­ent and a curated set of privileges.

Travel period is from July 1 to Dec. 31 for internatio­nal travels and July 1 to Dec. 12 for domestic travels.
