HERE’S HOW YOU CAN MEET KOREAN IDOLS NAM JOO-HYUK AND SANDARA PARK IN MANILA

Plus, our Penshoppe Fan Con Super wish list!

If you know and love your Hallyu well, then save this date: July 29, 2018.

Why? Well, that’s only when you’ll get to experience one of the biggest fanmeets in the country, like ever. Local retail fashion house Penshoppe will be flying in their top endorsers Sandara Park and Nam Joo-hyuk for the Penshoppe FanCon in July.

Like the brand’s previous production, “Penshoppe Presents Dara,” fans can expect a grand event packed with fan quizzes, performances, cute and hilarious antics, and more. The FanCon will house thousands of fans that day as it will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena.

That’s not even the best news. Seeing your K-drama and K-pop idols won’t cost you a fortune like other Korean superstar events do. In fact, all you have to do is make a P300 minimum purchase at the nearest Penshoppe store. Along with your new and hip clothes, you’ll be coming home with a promo code that’s printed on your receipt. This will be used to reserve your very own ticket online.

There will also be 200 winners of meet-and-greet passes. And along with the chance to have a face- to- face interaction with their favorite stars, these lucky fans will also bring home a signed poster coupled with a group photo with the Korean idols. Fans would only have until July 21 to shop and secure their tickets! Here are some of Super’s FanCon wishes: •

A reenaction of a “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” scene played by Joo-hyuk and Dara. Of course the Blackjacks’ “gacha maknae” (fake youngest member) would probably give her one-day role a hilarious twist. •

A game that would force Joo-hyuk to show his abs. A bet, perhaps? We’ll surely take any excuse for this to happen. In his Manila fanmeet, fans witnessed how many pushups this heartthrob could endure. This time, we really want a glimpse of those abs. •

Sandara singing some old-school hits like “In or Out” and “Sumusunod sa Galaw Mo” just for laughs. Dara, we know you hate this, but just a couple of lines, please? •

An exclusive song release from the album Dara has been working hard on. Blackjacks, back us up on this! • A game of

“cham-cham-cham” with Joohyuk—just because a staring game would be too much to bear. Cham-cham-cham is a simple Korean hand game where one guesses which direction the other player would turn their head to. •

A fashion show headlined by the two Korean stars. We see them a lot on billboards around the metro, but now we think it’s time we get to witness their modeling swag in person.
