CELEBRITY CHEFS DEL ROSARIO, ASPIRAS HEADLINE ‘FILIPINO CULINARY PRIDE’

Diamond Hotel Philippine­s recently launched its annual Filipino food festival dubbed as "Filipino Culinary Pride" featuring celebrity chefs Sau del Rosario and Miko Aspiras. The ceremonial ribbon cutting that signified the grand opening was led by Diamond Hotel general manager Vanessa Suatengco and was joined by Ambassador of Panama to the Philippine­s Rolando Guevara Alvarado, the guest chefs, and the Miss Earth Philippine­s winners. Corporate clients, hotel partners and media friends were invited to the much-celebrated event at Corniche restaurant where they feasted on the featured chefs’ signature dishes showcased at the buffet stations. In the live cooking demonstrat­ion, Chef Sau featured his famous Crispy Pork Kare-Kare Macadamia that drew much at- tention from the attendees. Thereafter, Chef Miko Aspiras showed his creative pastry skills with his own take on the popular Diamond Ensaymada which he served with Flambéed Morada and Rosella. Adding excitement to the event were the dance performanc­es of the Bayanihan, the Philippine National Folk Dance Company.
