Surprises, parties kick off SM’s 60th year festivities

When you spot those pretty pink, blue and white balloons, you know something awesome is happening. Here’s how these different SM malls launched their 60th year celebration.

SM MEGAMALL

SM Megamall kicked off the festivities in a dulcet way with the Sweet 60 #AweSM Weekend Party, transforming the Mega Fashion Hall into a dessert wonderland. Apart from fun activities, sugary treats, freebies, and Instagramworthy corners – there were performances by SM Woman Divas Frenchie Dy, Radha, and Bituin Escalante; SM Little Stars Annastacia Penny; the NU Pep Squad; and the relaunch of SM’s “We’ve Got It All” jingle sung by The Voice’s Ramonne Rodriguez.

SM CITY CLARK

At SM City Clark’s Event Center, 60 surprises worth over P100,000 were unboxed to celebrate SM’s 60th year. SM Youth, Surplus Shop and Bum ambassadors were there to join the fun with SM Little Stars grand winners Marcus Cabais and Chun Sa.

SM CITY DASMARIÑAS

The energy was high at SM City Dasmariñas as Pilipinas Got Talent’s The Sinag Color Guards led the flash mob. Sixty happy shoppers spotted with the best smiles were given loot bags filled with #AweSM goodies.

SM SEASIDE CITY CEBU

SM Seaside City Cebu opted for a very Cebuano route, celebrating their #AweSM Weekend Party with the Santacruzan sa Sugbo 2018. Focus was on Filipina beauty and grace as thirty elegant women from Cebu’s different communities participated in the event.

SM LANANG PREMIER

SM Lanang Premier put the spotlight on Davao’s young and stylish with a fun fashion show. There were special treats too, of course, with SM’s 60 Bursts of Surprises. Lucky guests got to bring home concert tickets and goodies from SM and participating stores.

The “Pampanga Eye,” the tallest Ferris wheel in the Philippines, turned into a larger-than-life symbol of SM’s 60th anniversary at Sky Ranch Pampanga.
