ORCHESTRA OF THE FILIPINO YOUTH HOLDS CONCERT FOR DIPLOMATIC CORPS The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of International Economic Relations presented recently a concert featuring Ang Misyon’s Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY) at the DFA Auditorium in Manila. The audience was composed mainly of members of the diplomatic corps in the Philippines, with Venezuelan Ambassador to the Philippines Capaya Rodriguez Gonzales as special guest. AngMisyon is a music program inspired by Venezuelabased El Sistema, which is known worldwide for teaching orchestral music to poor youth.
