HILTON MANILA NAMES EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
Hilton Manila has announced key appointments in the organization: Raul Aquino, director of operations; Nina Quinto, director of human resources; Joanne Gomez, director of business development; and Freddieliz Esguerra, director of finance.
These top executives form part of the preopening team spearheaded by the hotel’s general manager, Simon McGrath.
Hilton Manila is set to open in the third quarter of 2018.
With a solid 28 years of work experience in the hotel industry, Aquino has worked with global hotel chains such as Hyatt Hotels, Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Peninsula Hotels, New World Hotels & Resorts, and Accor Hotels. Most recently, he served as the resident manager of Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa, Thailand.
Quinto is a seasoned human resources and management practitioner with 21 years of practice under her belt. She was the director of human resources at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila prior to joining Hilton Manila.
Gomez has worked in the hospitality industry for 23 years, and was affiliated with The Ascott Limited for 17 years.
Prior to joining Hilton Manila, Esguerra was financial controller for two Dusit Thani Manila and Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island, Cebu.
Hilton Manila forms an integral part of Resorts World Manila and is located adjacent to Naia Terminal 3. Aiming for the business and leisure markets, it features 357 guest rooms and suites, five F&B outlets, a resortstyle pool, a fitness center and function rooms, including a ballroom.
