SITEL PHILIPPINE­S PARTNERS WITH GLOBE TELECOM ON "PROJECT 1 PHONE"

Sitel Philippine­s has partnered with Globe Telecom on the "Project 1 Phone" E-Waste Recycling Campaign across its 14 sites in the Philippine­s. The project aims to collect old and broken mobile phones, tablets, mp3 players, chargers, and other e-waste for proper disposal and recycling. Metals from these electronic gadgets will be used to build schools in Marawi under Globe's Global Filipino School Program.

"There are few players doing proper hazardous waste disposal and we are happy to do our part," said Yoly Crisanto, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communicat­ions, Globe Telecom. "Project 1 Phone encourages everyone to give their old devices and electronic gadgets one last wonderful, that is, for recycling, this time to help rehabilita­te and build schools for the children of Marawi."
