Eastwood Richmonde Hotel offsets this month’s gloomy weather forecasts with delectable offerings to brighten the day and lighten the mood of any picky gourmand or avid foodie.

Eastwood Café+Bar has everything to satisfy any craving, from a full meal and filling snacks, to a night of bingeing with friends.

The Sizzlin’ Chef’s Specials will keep lunch and dinner time warm and tasty with mouthwater­ing set meals at super great value, and even a bit of artsy flambé cooking by your tableside. Just choose from four main entrées–Steak Diane in café de Paris sauce (P745), pan-seared Norwegian salmon in lemon orange glaze (P655), prawns in bisque sauce (P695), and marinated chicken fillet in madeira sauce (P575)–and you get free homemade Caesar salad, potato and corn chowder soup, and El Fuego Dulce or vanilla butter cake with toffee apple filling topped with torched merengue and vanilla ice cream.

These Chef’s Specials are available any time, any day un- til Aug. 31.

When the late afternoon rains have you stuck indoors, you can stay dry, cozy and delightful­ly stuffed with Eastwood Café+Bar’s Afternoon Tea Time. For only P395 nett, delight in assorted pastries, native delicacies, and open-faced sandwiches, served with a steaming pot of Pure Green, English Breakfast, or Earl Grey Twinings tea.

This set of yummy nibbles and soothing sips is available daily from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

For those days when you just want some good ol’ comfort food, you can turn to something timeless and reli- able. The Classic Italian Pizza is a 12-inch Margherita pizza (P325) with your traditiona­l toppings of mozzarella, tomato, garlic, and basil. And for just an additional P30 per topping, you can make it your own with add-ons like pepperoni, bacon, ham, Hungarian sausage, black olive, button mushroom, bell pepper, cheese, anchovy, onion and fresh tomato. Enjoy this with a friend or savor all by yourself any time of the day.

Come weekend, kick back, relax and unwind with friends as you indulge in the yummy tastes and sounds of Eastwood Café+Bar’s Fizz & Crackles served from 6 to 9 p.m. all Fridays and Saturdays of August and September.
